Abrasive blast pots are used for a variety of applications including surface preparation and abrasive blasting/cleaning. Abrasive blasting/cleaning includes mould cleaning(deflashing and deburring), etching, frosting, engraving, matt finishing, crack detection, discoloration treatment, stain and residue removal, and shot peening.

Surface preparation is the process of thoroughly preparing a substrate/surface for a coating. Good quality surface preparation can only be achieved with high pressure sandblasting.
